CaFHS
Our Children’s Centre has a CaFHS clinic (Child and Family Health Service) conveniently located on-site every Tuesday and Wednesday. CaFHS offers free health checks for children, providing families with access to expert advice and support on various aspects of child health and development.
The first five years are very important for lifetime development as this is when the brain and body grows rapidly, regular health and development checks are recommended for all babies and young children.
While children between birth and 5 years can be seen at any time if you have concerns or questions, CaFHS also offers key health and development checks at the following ages:
- 1 – 4 weeks
- 8 weeks
- 6 – 9 months
- 12 months
- 18 to 24 months
- 3 years
- 4-5 years
Our dedicated team of nurses at CaFHS specializes in child health and is available to address any concerns or questions you may have regarding feeding, growth, health, and development. Whether you’re seeking reassurance, guidance, or simply want to ensure your child is thriving, our nurses are here to support you every step of the way.
