Welcome to Darlington Children’s Centre located on the lands of the Kaurna People. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the land in which our Children’s Centre stands and pay our respect to elder’s past, present and future.
Children’s Centres for Early Childhood Development and Parenting are a South Australian Government initiative that support children’s development, health, learning and wellbeing. The initiative promotes integrated early childhood programs and family services in which professional agencies, service providers, families and the local community work together to provide high quality programs for children and family support services.
At our Children’s Centre we provide a nurturing environment where children thrive. Our programs are designed to offer a diverse range of opportunities for families and children to flourish including:
- A Department for Education Kindergarten program (please click on the quick link for how to enrol)
- An Occasional Care program – 3 hours per week for families not accessing Childcare, Family day care or Kindergarten
- Playgroups offered in term time (please click on the quick link to our term flyer)
- Parenting groups such as Circle of Security and Bringing up great kids
